students are expected to have their Agenda at school every day
	items are to be copied off the board by all exactly as they are written
	if there is a line beside an item, parent signature is expected
	if the item is written in red on the board, only students who did not complete the work need to copy it e.g. MMM INC _______
	Agendas are checked every day a student signature was required the day before - generally 4 times weekly
	if the line is circled, it means that parent signature was missing when Agenda was checked
	parents are encouraged to write notes into the Agenda, rather than on separate pieces of paper

	when assignments are overdue, students are expected to write notes to themselves
	INC means incomplete
	concerns about student behaviour will be noted in the Agenda and will require parent signature
	students are expected to show parents all test and assignment results - these will be written on the board as "Show parents ...." followed by a line for signature - if the item was not brought home, parents are not to sign
	information on routines and in class activities is also expected to be shared with parents - these  will be written on the board as "Tell parents ..... _________" followed by a line for signature
	checking a class set of agendas daily takes time but it is worth it
