Term 3 - Aspects of Government in Canada ~ Social Studies
Miss Berndl's Fantabulous Fives

Government

What makes Canada such a great place to live is the fact that we are a democratic country that respects the rights of all citizens. These rights have been hard won, as all of our ancestors came to Canada one way or another in the past looking for a place to live and cal home. Young people are encouraged to understand how government works because they will have the right to vote when they are 19. As the saying goes, if you are not part of the solution then you are part of the problem.
