Welcome to the "CHiPS Ahoy Don River Stream"
| Thanks to the work of Christine, Project Biologist with
Ontario Streams, Charles Howitt P.S. is in the process of adopting a section
of the Don River tributary that runs south of Carrville Road into our
attendance boundary. In order to scientifically assess the impact that our stewardship has on the health of the stream it was necessary to do a "pre-test" on the health of the stream. We were very fortunate to be able to participate in a fish sampling exercise. The following pictures give an idea of what this involves.
