Pioneer Park ~ Richmond Hill
Pioneer Park has been designated a park where understory restoration
is taking place. The Town of Richmond Hill is in partnership with the
Evergreen Foundation to improve this park's habitat. They have provided
our students with opportunities to plant small trees and shrubs in the
park. What has made this experience even more enjoyable, is that our
Junior students have been paired up with High School students from a
local school. The older kids made great EcoBuddies.
